I have 2 western diamondback rattlesnakes male and female 2ft. long and 3 ft. long my female typical aggressive rattler my male big lovebug. I had him on my shoulders yesterday at the pet store. I don't think he realizes just how dangerous he can be. It's important to note I've had my female for about 5 yrs. and she's still crazy I've had him about 3 1/2 yrs. but he's the exception to the rule of don't freehandle venomous.

I call his watch!

Ive found that if mistakenly leaving the snake hook home, ill utilize a branch if i find it absolutely necessary to handle or move a hot snake. Just sayin.

2 things; can a sea krait really eat a morey eel? They seem way too big to consume. And given how small their fangs are, is it possible to be envenomated and not even realize it?

David, in regards to non-venomous snake bites, what is your advice in regards to avoiding bacterial infections? Do you just wash your skin with water, soap & water, apply anti bacterial ointment, do something else, or do nothing? Btw....hope you're feeling better.
